The school is under the management of the CMI (Carmelites of Mary Immaculate) fathers of the Preshitha Province, Coimbatore. The Congregation was founded in1831 at mannanam near Kottayam and is the first and foremost among the indigenous religious congregations in India. Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the founder, gave a definite religious form to this community. He laid the foundation for all the modern and progressive fields of activities to which the congregation is committed at present. In the educational field of CMI congregation conducts several colleges, schools, training and technical institutes all over India. It is also involved in many other social and humanitarian activities.
